SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Helen Roberta Book of McHenry, who passed
4away on March 24, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Helen Book was born in Eddyville, Kentucky on
6September 7, 1920 to Bert L. and Carrie Adele (nee Oliver)
7Gray; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Helen Book worked for Guardian Electric in
9Woodstock; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Helen Book was a member of the Women of the Moose
11Lodge Ladies Auxiliary Post 5040 in Woodstock for over 30
12years; she enjoyed country music, flowers, feeding birds and
13squirrels, and feeding her family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Helen Book was preceded in death by her parents; 2
15husbands, Russell Gibson and Howard "Bill" Book; 2 daughters,
16Kathy Lynn Greene and Cindy Lee Anderson; a grandson, Travis
17Lee Greene; and her 8 siblings; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Helen Book is survived by her husband, Henry
19Mittermayer; a son, Robert R. Gibson; a daughter, Brenda J.
20(Henry) Kuczynski; her grandchildren, Russell, Ronald, Rhonda,

1Roxanne, Sherrie, Joyce, Denise, Diana, and Vanessa; 16
2great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Helen Roberta Book, and extend our sincere condolences to her
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Helen Book as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
