HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Colonel Agnes Kindred-Johnson on her retirement from the Illinois State Police on December 31, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was appointed to Illinois State Police Cadet Class #87 on January 29, 1990 and upon graduation on June 5, 1990, she was assigned to work patrol for District 9; and

WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was promoted to Special Agent and began working investigations for District 9 on December 16, 1993; and

WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson transferred to the Division of Internal Investigations on December 1, 1996; she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on January 16, 1998 and to Master Sergeant on September 16, 2002; and

WHEREAS, As Master Sergeant, Colonel Kindred-Johnson worked in the Division of Operation's Deputy Director's Office; on October 1, 2005 she was promoted to Lieutenant and worked as an advisor to Director Larry Trent; and

WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was promoted to Captain in the Medical Fraud Unit on May 1, 2009, to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel of the Division of Internal Investigations on June 16, 2011, and to the rank of Colonel of the Division of Internal Investigation on January 1, 2012; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Colonel Agnes Kindred-Johnson on her retirement from the Illinois State Police and wish her the best in all her future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Colonel Kindred-Johnson as an expression of our esteem and respect.
