HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Colonel Agnes
4Kindred-Johnson on her retirement from the Illinois State
5Police on December 31, 2013; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was appointed to Illinois
7State Police Cadet Class #87 on January 29, 1990 and upon
8graduation on June 5, 1990, she was assigned to work patrol for
9District 9; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was promoted to Special
11Agent and began working investigations for District 9 on
12December 16, 1993; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson transferred to the
14Division of Internal Investigations on December 1, 1996; she
15was promoted to the rank of Sergeant on January 16, 1998 and to
16Master Sergeant on September 16, 2002; and
 
17    WHEREAS, As Master Sergeant, Colonel Kindred-Johnson
18worked in the Division of Operation's Deputy Director's Office;
19on October 1, 2005 she was promoted to Lieutenant and worked as
20an advisor to Director Larry Trent; and

1    WHEREAS, Colonel Kindred-Johnson was promoted to Captain
2in the Medical Fraud Unit on May 1, 2009, to the rank of
3Lieutenant Colonel of the Division of Internal Investigations
4on June 16, 2011, and to the rank of Colonel of the Division of
5Internal Investigation on January 1, 2012; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we congratulate Colonel Agnes Kindred-Johnson on her
9retirement from the Illinois State Police and wish her the best
10in all her future endeavors; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to Colonel Kindred-Johnson as an expression of our
13esteem and respect.
