HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Theartis K. Clary on helping to found the Forever Fly Crew; and

WHEREAS, The Forever Fly Crew (currently operating as Forever Fly, LLC) is an urban, local, clothing brand specializing in sports apparel and specialty seasonal items and accessories; and

WHEREAS, The Forever Fly Crew evolved on the West Side of Chicago with 4 Core members, Theartis K. Clary, Lashion Reed, Robert Wheatley, and Michael D. Gibson and 2 Backbone members, Precious Wright and Tiffany Avery; together they make up the Elite Six who are developing the business; the Elite Six are joined by a business consultant, Kimala Franklin, and an event proprietor, Corderro Richmond; and

WHEREAS, Theartis K. Clary is the sole proprietor of Forever Fly, LLC; he was born in Chicago on July 16, 1989; he played football from the age of 9 and his performance in high school earned him full-ride scholarship offers to many reputable universities; he overcame numerous personal tragedies before attending Quincy University, with a focus on a business degree; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Forever Fly Crew pride themselves on being by the community, for the community, and in the community; they sell motivation, power, love, and independence through good quality, fashionable products; they encourage every customer to have limitless potential, to be a force to be reckoned with, and to be a true boss in his or her own right; they want to support their customers' dreams, desires, and life-long goals; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Theartis K. Clary on helping to found the Forever Fly Crew; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Theartis K. Clary as an expression of our esteem and respect.
