HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Nicholas Fortney on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney's Eagle Scout project was removing old bushes and trees and creating a new landscape for the front entrance of the Living Christ Lutheran Church in Hanover Park; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney is a member of Boy Scout Troop 389 of the Hanover Park Lions Club; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney, at the age of 16, is involved in cross country, track and field, band, the Hanover Leo Club, and is on the Honor Role at Hoffman Estates High School; and

WHEREAS, Nicholas Fortney's parents are Lisa and Tom Fortney and he has a brother, Justin, who has also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Nicholas Fortney on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Nicholas Fortney as an expression of our esteem and respect.
