HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Barbara Laimins on retiring from teaching at Community High School in School District 94; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Laimins has served the school district as a social studies teacher, a Junior Statesmen of America sponsor, student council advisor, National Honor Society Sponsor, class sponsor, and the founder of the Equestrian Club; she co-created the World Studies Program and the Abnormal Psychology curriculum; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Laimins served as the president of the West Chicago Teacher's Association and has been an active fundraiser for District 94's Education Foundation; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Barbara Laimins on her retirement from teaching at Community High School, thank her for her contributions to the students of School District 94, and wish her all the best with her future endeavours; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Barbara Laimins as an expression of our esteem and respect.
