HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mary Coyle on the occasion of her 70th birthday on February 3, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Mary Coyle was born Mary Kathryn Kellberg on February 3, 1943, the first of 4 Kellberg girls; they grew up on Carpenter Street on the south side of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Mary Coyle began her career as a hairdresser at the age of 5 when she cut off the curls of her sister Claudia's hair and simply put them back when it didn't look right; she was often mistaken for a young Elizabeth Taylor and aspired to be the lead singer in a band; she and her sisters would sing and perform skits for everyone, with Mister Sandman being the most popular tune; and

WHEREAS, Mary Coyle survived Catholic school at the Academy of Our Lord and set foot on the business world in downtown Chicago; after several jobs, she met and married Frank Trombetta and raised 3 children, Steve, Michael, and Andrea; and

WHEREAS, After the end of her marriage to Frank Trombetta, Mary Coyle eventually moved to Schaumburg to start over and put her life back together; she worked a variety of jobs and met and married Bob Coyle 11 and a half years ago; her life was now complete; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we honor Mary Coyle on the occasion of her 70th birthday and wish her well in all her future endeavours; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mary Coyle as an expression of our esteem and respect.
