HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Nashville Community High School girls basketball team on their successful season and becoming the Class 2A girls basketball State champions; and

WHEREAS, The Nashville Community High School girls basketball team finished with a 33 and 2 record and were the SIRR Conference Champions; and

WHEREAS, In addition to the State championship, the Nashville Community High School girls basketball team were champions of the Nashville Thanksgiving Tourney, the Mascoutah Invitational, the Zeigler-Royalton Regional, the Dupo Sectional, and the Salem Super-Sectional; and

WHEREAS, The coaches of the Nashiville Community High School girls basketball team are Wayne Harre (head coach), Doug Althoff, Dempsey Witte, Bethany Hinkle, Tierney McKay, and Reena Ruggles; and

WHEREAS, The players of the Nashville Community High School girls basketball team are Erica Brown, Emily Gill, Jordi Harre, Shaye Harre, Alli Kellerman, Katy Kosydor, Madi May, Kiley Pelker, Rachel Reid, Shawn Rennegarbe, and Hannah Yung; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Nashville Community High School girls basketball team on winning the Class 2A State championship and recognize their successful season; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Nashville Community High School girls basketball team.
