| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 | | Representatives are pleased to
congratulate Anthony Dinkel on | | 4 | | the occasion of achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel joined the Cub Scouts in first | | 6 | | grade at the age of 6 and earned the
Arrow of Light in 2008; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel went on to boy scouting and joined | | 8 | | Troop 96 in February 2008,
advancing to Tenderfoot that | | 9 | | September, Second Class in November, and First Class in March
| | 10 | | 2009; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel served as Patrol Leader while a | | 12 | | First Class Scout and helped with many
service projects like | | 13 | | PADS and the Memorial Day Project; and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel became a Star Scout in 2010, earned | | 15 | | Ordeal in Order of the Arrow
that summer, and led a service | | 16 | | project collecting canned goods and toiletries; and
| | 17 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel became a Life Scout in 2011, and | | 18 | | worked to extend his knowledge and
leadership to younger | | 19 | | scouts, serving as Senior Patrol Leader; and

| | 1 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel embarked on his Eagle project in | | 2 | | January 2012, planning a day to clean
out 2 lakes in his | | 3 | | neighborhood; and
| | 4 | | WHEREAS, In August 2012, Anthony Dinkel completed his | | 5 | | project after only 8 months,
successfully removing 2 dumpsters | | 6 | | full of waste from Third Lake and Druce Lake; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel has earned a total of 32 Merit | | 8 | | Badges and completed his Eagle Scout
Review Board on December | | 9 | | 12, 2012; and
| | 10 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Dinkel lives in Third Lake near the 2 | | 11 | | lakes he helped to clean and
attends Carmel Catholic High | | 12 | | School, where he is part of the improv team, show choir, and
| | 13 | | performs in plays and musicals; therefore, be it
| | 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | | 15 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | | 16 | | we congratulate Anthony Dinkel
on attaining the coveted rank of | | 17 | | Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and happiness in the
| | 18 | | future; and be it further
| | 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | | 20 | | presented to Anthony Dinkel as a symbol
of our esteem and | | 21 | | respect.
