HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Noah
4Christian Moore of Danvers, who passed away peacefully
5surrounded by family and friends on November 12, 2014 after a
6heroic battle with cancer; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Noah Moore devoted his life to the people who
8mattered most, his beloved family, his dear friends, and his
9valued co-workers; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Noah Moore also dedicated his life and career to
11helping others; he worked as a senior technician for the
12Illinois Eye-Bank for 5 years and worked tirelessly to give the
13gift of sight to those in need; he traveled tens of thousands
14of miles, across state borders, often during the middle of the
15night, to recover donor tissue that would help someone see
16again; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Noah Moore was actively involved with the Boy
18Scouts of America, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout; he was
19passionate about supporting the Scouting program throughout
20his life and demonstrated strong leadership as he served as
21troop leader for Boy Scout Troop 27 in Danvers; and

1    WHEREAS, Noah Moore selflessly dedicated his time and
2unique talents to better his community, a place that loved him
3as much as he loved it; he served as a volunteer firefighter
4for the Danvers Fire Department, where he was active on the
5color guard for the department and made a lasting impression on
6everyone around him; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Noah Moore was prominent in Danvers for his
8unmatched dedication to volunteer work; he was also active in
9the Danvers Lions Club and was a longtime member of the Danvers
10Baptist Church, where his passion for the improvement of his
11community and the welfare of his fellow man grew; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Noah Moore loved reveling in the tranquility of
13the outdoors; he was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed
14hunting, fishing, and camping; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Noah Moore cherished his family most of all; he
16will be remembered as a loyal friend; a loving father to his 2
17wonderful sons, Ethan and Eli; and a devoted husband to his
18dear wife, Stephanie; most importantly, he will be remembered
19for his unyielding commitment to making a difference in the
20lives of others; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Noah Moore was preceded in death by his maternal
22and paternal grandparents; and

1    WHEREAS, Noah Moore is survived by his wife of 5 years,
2Stephanie; his 2 children, Ethan and Eli Moore; his mother,
3Marsha (Danny-Joe) Albert; his father, Michael (Lillie) Moore;
43 brothers, including Christopher Moore; 3 sisters, Adrienne
5Kurtz, Erica Kurtz, and Angela Moore; his mother-in-law and
6father-in-law, Ruth Ann and Mike Fogler; his sister-in-law,
7Heidi (Gary) Kitchcart; and his brother-in-law, Scott (Shari)
8Fogler; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
10NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
11we mourn the passing of Noah Christian Moore, and extend our
12sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
13and loved him; and be it further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Noah Moore as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
