HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives wish to congratulate Lynn Daly on the occasion
4of her retirement as Assistant Principal of Queen of All Saints
5School in Chicago; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly is a graduate of the University of
7Maryland and Northeastern Illinois University; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly has served for 31 years with the
9Archdiocese, with 14 of those years at Queen of All Saints; and
 
10    WHEREAS, During her tenure at Queen of All Saints School,
11Lynn Daly was instrumental in helping the school achieve Blue
12Ribbon status by the United States Department of Education in
132010; she was instrumental in the creation of the school's
14Faith Partner program and has been at the forefront of helping
15the school earn grant funding to finance key technological
16advances; she also started many of the programs instilling
17leadership skills in the school's 8th grade students, such as
18the Student Council, the Ambassador Club, school spirit
19initiatives, the Snake Road field trip, and countless volunteer
20projects to aid the less fortunate; and
 
21    WHEREAS, In addition to her service at Queen of All Saints

1School, Lynn Daly also taught at St. Hilary's and was a former
2PTA member at Transfiguration Parish in Chicago; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Lynn Daly serves as a model of hard work,
4integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
5Illinois; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
7NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
8we congratulate Lynn Daly on the occasion of her retirement and
9wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to Lynn Daly as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
