1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Ty Harmston, of
4 Stockton High School and a member of the Lena-Winslow/Stockton
5 High School Wrestling Team, on becoming the 2014 Illinois High
6 School Association Class 1A 220-pound Division Wrestling State
7 Champion; and

8     WHEREAS, Ty Harmston has compiled a career record of 122-7
9 and is a 3-time State qualifier; and

10     WHEREAS, This is Ty Harmston's second State championship;
11 he was a runner-up as a sophomore; and

12     WHEREAS, Ty Harmston was a member of the 2012 State Dual
13 Team Runner-Up; and

14     WHEREAS, Ty Harmston helped his team to a 74-11 record over
15 his career; and

16     WHEREAS, Ty Harmston plans on playing football for Northern
17 Illinois University after graduating high school; therefore,
18 be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
2 we congratulate Ty Harmston on becoming the 2014 Illinois High
3 School Association Class 1A 220-pound Division Wrestling State
4 Champion; and be it further

5     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6 presented to Ty Harmston as an expression of our esteem and
7 respect.
