SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kenneth "Bobo" Pamson of Bloomington, who passed away on August 26, 2020; and

WHEREAS, Ken Pamson was born in East Peoria to Phillip and Eva Pamson on March 10, 1931; he married Loretta Donaldson in 1978, and they were inseparable until her death in April 2020; he was extremely proud to have served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; and

WHEREAS, Ken Pamson worked as a semi driver for O'Neill Brothers until his retirement; and

WHEREAS, Ken Pamson enjoyed camping, golfing, playing bocce ball, shooting pool, and dancing; he cherished spending time with his family and quiet evenings with his wife and their two Shih Tzus; he will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor and his big, giving heart; and

WHEREAS, Ken Pamson was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his brothers, Leonard Pamson and Jack Pamson; and his daughter, Judy Kreuger; and

WHEREAS, Ken Pamson is survived by his children, Kenny Pamson (Pam Meeker), Tammy (Rocky) Justice, Deanna (Joe) Moye, Michael Pamson, Karen (Keith) Bell, and Kathy Tosh; his 16 grandchildren; his 20 great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kenneth "Bobo" Pamson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ken Pamson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
