| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of
Maurice J. Snell Jr. of Virden, who | | 4 | | passed away on November 8, 2012; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Maurice Snell Jr. was born on July 3, 1951, in | | 6 | | Springfield; he was the son of Maurice J. and Veronica E. | | 7 | | (Greeley) Snell; he married Theresa A. Maher on July 31, 1976, | | 8 | | in Girard; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, Maurice Snell Jr. graduated from Virden High | | 10 | | School in 1969 and served for a short time in the United States | | 11 | | Navy; and
| | 12 | | WHEREAS, Maurice Snell Jr. was the co-owner and operator of | | 13 | | Snell Plumbing and Heating in Virden for 40 years; and
| | 14 | | WHEREAS, Maurice Snell Jr. was a member of the Virden | | 15 | | American Legion Post #386 and a former trustee for Virden | | 16 | | Township; and
| | 17 | | WHEREAS, Maurice Snell Jr. is survived by his wife, Theresa | | 18 | | A. Snell; his daughters, Alyssa D. (Darby) Ferguson and Sarah | | 19 | | E. (fiance, Greg Dubois) Snell; his sons, Maury J. "Moe" | | 20 | | (Annette) Snell III and David J. (Heidi) Snell; his 7 |
