SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Chicago Fire Department Lieutenant Thomas D. Flahive; and

WHEREAS, Lt. Thomas Flahive was a member of the Chicago Fire Department since 1989; he was a member of Engine Company 108 at the time of his passing; and

WHEREAS, Lt. Thomas Flahive was the beloved husband of Mary Faith; the loving father of Daniel, Devin, and Connor (Lauren Del Boccio); the dear son of the late Daniel and Violet; and the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Lieutenant Thomas D. Flahive; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lt. Thomas Flahive as an expression of our sympathy.
