SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kiley Dwayne Murray, who passed away on
4December 13, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Kiley Murray was born on May 8, 1972, in Chicago;
6his parents are Robin Butler and Darrell Murray; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Kiley Murray attended Parkland Community College
8and completed 2 years of study in Parkland's engineering
9program; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Kiley Murray was well known as a devoted father to
11his children; seeking more opportunities for himself and his
12family, he relocated part-time to Atlanta, Georgia, despite his
13love for Chicago; while living in Atlanta, his love and passion
14for cars and motorcycles grew and he enjoyed them as much as he
15could; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Kiley Murray joined the New Friendship Missionary
17Baptist Church at an early age and was baptized under the
18leadership of Reverend Stroy Freeman; he had recently been
19attending New Life Covenant Christian Church under the
20leadership of Pastor John Hanna; and

1    WHEREAS, Kiley Murray is survived by his parents, Robin and
2Darrell; his fiancée, Tammye Flowers; his children, Kyla, K'la,
3Kiley Jr., Lauren, Jonathon, Kilen, and McK'la; his sisters,
4Tracy, Jamie, Lisa, Olivia, Felicia, Lexus, and Darrah; his
5grandmothers, Mrs. Josie Baskin and Mrs. Sadie Murray; his 9
6uncles and 5 aunts; his niece and 2 nephews; and his many other
7relatives and friends; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10his family and friends, the passing of Kiley Dwayne Murray; and
11be it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Kiley Murray as an expression of our
14sympathy.
