SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eloise A. Ambrose of Bloomington, who passed away on April 2, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Eloise Ambrose was born on October 11, 1925, in Arrowsmith; she was the daughter of Albert Francis and Elizabeth Koopman Huth; she married Edward "Vincent" Ambrose on November 11, 1949, in Gibson City; and

WHEREAS, Eloise Ambrose was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the McLean County Homemakers Extension Association and the association's antique study group, and the Christian Family Movement; she also served on many boards since 1969 and served as a Cub Scout den mother; and

WHEREAS, Eloise Ambrose was preceded in death by her brother, Paul G. Huth; and

WHEREAS, Eloise Ambrose is survived by her daughter, Deb (David) Decker; her sons, Charles Ambrose, David (Judi) Ambrose, Paul (Robin) Ambrose, Mark (Eva) Ambrose, and Steven (Valerie) Ambrose; her 14 grandchildren; her 8 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Alberta Langley and Mary Ann (Keith) Olson; and her brother, Albert (Idy) Huth; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Eloise A. Ambrose; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eloise Ambrose as an expression of our sympathy.
