| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of
Harold Patrick Graham of Shorewood, who | 4 | | passed away on April 7, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Harold Graham was a proud graduate of the | 6 | | Cathedral of St. Raymond School, Joliet Catholic High School, | 7 | | and Lewis University; he later served as a Trustee at Lewis | 8 | | University; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Harold Graham served his country with pride as a | 10 | | member of the Illinois National Guard; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Harold Graham and his wife were the founders of HP | 12 | | Graham Construction Company in 1969; his love of building roads | 13 | | expanded into developing real estate in Illinois, Florida, and | 14 | | Hawaii; most recently, he proudly worked with a group of local | 15 | | friends to found First Community Bank; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Harold Graham was a lifelong Joliet resident and | 17 | | member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Parish, where he ushered | 18 | | noon Mass for many years; he was also a lifelong member of the | 19 | | Knights of Columbus and Joliet Elks Lodge and served on the | 20 | | Parent Board and Board of Trustees at his daughters' alma | 21 | | mater, St. Mary's Notre Dame; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Harold Graham is survived by his wife of 44 years, | 2 | | Patricia (Liker); his daughters, Colleen (Thomas) Dow and | 3 | | Christine (Matthew) Gambs; his grandchildren, Katie Dow and | 4 | | Charlie and Michael Gambs; and his mother-in-law, Clara Liker; | 5 | | therefore, be it
| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 8 | | his family and friends, the passing of Harold Patrick Graham; | 9 | | and be it further
| 10 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 11 | | presented to the family of Harold Graham as an expression of | 12 | | our sympathy.
