SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of George Raymond Eberhardt of Mundelein, who passed away on September 16, 2011; and

WHEREAS, George Eberhardt was born on August 15, 1950, in Waukegan; he was the son of George and Esther Eberhardt; and

WHEREAS, George Eberhardt graduated from Carmel High School in Mundelein in 1968; and

WHEREAS, After high school, George Eberhardt entered the United States Marine Corps and honorably served with honor and distinction in Vietnam; and

WHEREAS, George Eberhardt retired from IBEW Local 150 after 37 years as an electrician; and

WHEREAS, George Eberhardt was preceded in death by his grandson, Elijah Myers; and

WHEREAS, George Eberhardt is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Susan; his children, Gustav, Jennifer, and Katy (Pete) Myers; his siblings, Debbie (Rick) Learmont, Linda, and Gary (Brenda); his grandchildren, Abigail Greenhalgh and Jack and Benjamin Myers; and his many other family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of George Raymond Eberhardt; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of George Eberhardt as an expression of our sympathy.
