SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Lillian Smalls Whack of Mt. Pleasant, who passed away on August 21, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Lillian Whack is survived by her children, Joseph Perry, Harold (Rita), Phillip (Delores), Michael, and Donna Burch; her 6 grandchildren; her 3 great-grandchildren; her sister and brother, Betty Mickle and Arthur Montgomery; her nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Lillian Whack; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Lillian Whack as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
