SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James C. "Jim" DelMedico of Norwood Park, who recently passed away; and

WHEREAS, He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in Korea; and

WHEREAS, He was a longtime City of Chicago 41st Ward Community Representative; and

WHEREAS, James DelMedico was the beloved father of Jim DelMedico and Paula (Dave) Giertych; he was the proud grandfather of Lindsey, Ryan, Zach, and Megan; he was the dear brother of Louis (Marie) and Frank (Irene) DelMedico; and he was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of James C. "Jim" DelMedico; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James C. "Jim" DelMedico as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
