SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Michael S. Korenchuk of Peoria, who passed away on August 7, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Michael Korenchuk was born on May 6, 1971, in Evergreen Park; he is the son of Michael P. and Hilary A. (Hagan) Korenchuk; he married Rachel R. Baker on February 11, 2008, in Costa Rica; and

WHEREAS, Michael Korenchuk was employed at J.C. Dillon Inc. in Peoria for nine years; and

WHEREAS, Michael Korenchuk was a member of the Laborers Union of Peoria and the Loons Motorcycle Club of Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Michael Korenchuk is survived by his parents, Michael P. and Hilary Korenchuk; his daughters, Bella and Jersie Korenchuk; his sister, Krista (Josh) Leifheit; his niece, Kendall Leifheit; his nephew, Torin Leifheit; and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Michael S. Korenchuk; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Michael Korenchuk as an expression of our sympathy.
