SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Officer Harold Kegler, who passed away on June 8, 1925; and

WHEREAS, Officer Kegler was employed by the Cook County Sheriff's Highway Police, where he served faithfully; and

WHEREAS, Officer Kegler was survived by his wife, his mother, his sister, and his two brothers; and

WHEREAS, Officer Kegler dedicated and gave his life to protecting and serving the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Officer Harold Kegler; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Officer Harold Kegler as an expression of our sympathy.
