1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Senior Parole Agent Ellane Aimiuwu, who
4 passed away on February 7, 2010; and

5     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu was born on January
6 17, 1953; and

7     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu had served in the law
8 enforcement community for 12 years; he was a Senior Parole
9 Agent with the Illinois Department of Corrections for over 8
10 years; and

11     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu maintained the star
12 number 9938; and

13     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu was a proud member of
14 the Illinois Department of Corrections FOP Lodge #263; and

15     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu leaves behind 2
16 children; and

17     WHEREAS, Senior Parole Agent Aimiuwu dedicated and gave his
18 life to protecting and serving the people of the State of
19 Illinois; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3 his family, friends, and his Fraternal Order of Police brothers
4 and sisters, the passing of Senior Parole Agent Ellane Aimiuwu;
5 and be it further

6     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7 presented to the family of Senior Parole Agent Ellane Aimiuwu
8 as an expression of our sympathy.
