SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gayle Karnatz of Wood Dale and formerly of Elmhurst, who passed away on March 3, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born on May 23, 1933; and

WHEREAS, Gayle Karnatz was the beloved wife of Fred; the loving mother of Patricia Palmer and Dan (Tracy); the grandmother of Amanda, Katherine, and Daniel; the sister of Verlain Goss, Howard Mahan, and the late Furman Gene Mahan; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Gayle Karnatz; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Gayle Karnatz as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
