AN ACT concerning State government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section 405-340 as follows:

(20 ILCS 405/405-340 new)

Sec. 405-340. Local government job database. The Department shall accept job postings from all local units of government and shall post those openings on its current statewide database of jobs. The database shall be searchable by locale and other reasonable and accepted criteria.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
