SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 405/405-340 new

Amends the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department shall maintain an online database of all requests for proposals from all State agencies and departments. Provides that the database shall include the requesting agency or department, the date the request is made, the closing date of the proposal, and a link to the actual request for proposal on the requesting agency's or department's website. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section 405-340 as follows:

Sec. 405-340. Request for proposal database. The Department shall maintain an online database of all requests for proposals from all State agencies and departments. The database shall include the requesting agency or department, the date the request is made, the closing date of the proposal, and a link to the actual request for proposal on the requesting agency's or department's website.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
