Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the scope of the Illinois Commerce Commission's jurisdiction over motor carriers of property.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning transportation.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing Section 18c-4101 as follows:

(625 ILCS 5/18c-4101) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 18c-4101)

Sec. 18c-4101. Scope of Commission Jurisdiction. Except as provided in Section 18c-4102 of this Chapter, the the jurisdiction of the Commission shall extend to all motor carriers of property operating within the State of Illinois.
