HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mike Hovde on his retirement from State Farm Insurance; and

WHEREAS, With more than 38 years of dedicated service to State Farm policyholders and State Farm Insurance, Mike Hovde will retire on March 31, 2012; and

WHEREAS, He began his career with State Farm on August 16, 1973; and

WHEREAS, In retirement, he plans to spend more time with his lovely wife, Celine, and his 3 sons and their families, including 7 grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, He and his wife plan on traveling, playing golf, and enjoying life; he leaves State Farm with a feeling of pride on a job well done and appreciation to have been associated with an organization of quality people and high business standards; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Mike Hovde and wish him well in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mike Hovde as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
