HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Patricia Ann "Pat" Schintgen of Antioch, who passed away on February 12, 2011; and

WHEREAS, She was born August 20, 1943 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Casmir and Frances Olszowy; she moved to Antioch in 1970, where she was a member of St. Peter Church; and

WHEREAS, She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and fishing; she dearly cherished her grandchildren, and loved attending their recitals, sporting events, and competitions; and

WHEREAS, She was very family oriented and had a love for animals; and

WHEREAS, On January 7, 1961, she married John Charles Schintgen in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Patricia Schintgen is survived by her husband of 50 years, John; her daughters, Theresa A.(James) Yopp and Kimberly A. (Edward) Watkins; her grandchildren, Branden, Andrew, Sarah, Jessica, and Casey; and her great-grandson, Bryce; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Patricia Schintgen; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Patricia Schintgen as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
