1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Matthew Lawrence
4 Pasik on the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle
5 Scout; and

6     WHEREAS, Matthew serves with Troop 297 in Hoffman Estates;
7 his mother is Grace Pasik; and

8     WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Matthew Pasik
9 worked on the Summit View Christian Church in Hoffman Estates,
10 fixing the ceiling and plumbing problems the church experienced
11 after a storm; and

12     WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon
13 Matthew Pasik by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of Honor
14 ceremony on June 18, 2011; and

15     WHEREAS, Matthew Pasik serves as a model of hard work,
16 integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
17 Illinois; therefore, be it

18     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we congratulate Matthew Pasik on the occasion of attaining the

1 coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and
2 happiness in the future; and be it further

3     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to Matthew Pasik as a symbol of our esteem and
5 respect.
