HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team for their victory at the IHSA Class 2A State Tournament; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders beat Bloomington Central Catholic 75-64 to secure victory at the IHSA Class 2A State Tournament; the team ended their season with an impressive 31-1 record; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team are Arianna Rigg, Shannon Foley, Torre Stark, Quentessa Keating, Alyssa Klene, Gracie Barnes, Emily Arnold, Kate Gengenbacher, Kassidy Gengenbacher, Katie Kroeter, Tori Kuhn, Jordan Frericks, Kristen Gengenbacher, Jacey Cornwell, Molly Waterkotte, Bailey Gengenbacher, Cassidy Foley, Mackenzie Little, and Morgan Martin; the team's head coach is Eric Orne and the assistant coaches are Kevin Meyer, Randy Clampitt, Lori Vogel, and Mark Longo; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team for their victory at the IHSA Class 2A State Tournament and wish them continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
