HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James Earl Rencher, who passed away on July 7, 2012; and

WHEREAS, James Rencher was born on August 13, 1949; his parents were J.W. and Louise Rencher; and

WHEREAS, James Rencher accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 12 at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Morley, Missouri; he was educated in the R-3 School District in Oran, Missouri; and

WHEREAS, James Rencher served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1969 to 1971; and

WHEREAS, James Rencher was employed at McDonnell Douglas Corporation and IBM for 25 years; he worked in information technology for many years; and

WHEREAS, James Rencher is survived by his wife, Joan; his daughter, Stacie Johnson (Brandon); his beloved grandchildren, Owen and Ethan; his parents; his siblings, Mary Phillips (Francisco), John Rencher (Gwendolyn), Ann Mann (Al), Bettie Graham (Dan), Jean Shipley, Brenda Jemison (Greg), Ronnie Rencher (Kenda), Patricia Jordan, and Kathy Matthews (William); and his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of James Earl Rencher; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Rencher as an expression of our sympathy.
