Amends the Southern Illinois University Management Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a smoke detection system plan.

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Southern Illinois University Management Act is amended by changing Section 7.2 as follows:

(110 ILCS 520/7.2) (from Ch. 144, par. 657.2)

Sec. 7.2. The The Board shall, by January 1, 1985, submit to the office of the State Fire Marshal plans for a smoke detection system in all University dormitory corridors which shall be connected to a monitor panel and to a central fire alarm system.
