Amends the Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning recreational roads.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Local Governmental and Governmental Employees Tort Immunity Act is amended by changing Section 3-107 as follows:

(745 ILCS 10/3-107) (from Ch. 85, par. 3-107)

Sec. 3-107. Neither a local public entity nor nor a public employee is liable for an injury caused by a condition of: (a) Any road which provides access to fishing, hunting, or primitive camping, recreational, or scenic areas and which is not a (1) city, town or village street (2) county, state or federal highway or (3) a township or other road district highway. (b) Any hiking, riding, fishing or hunting trail.
