SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Patrick A. Serzynski of Gurnee, who passed away on June 13, 2010; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski was born on March 17, 1939, in Waukegan; he married Donna Russell on May 14, 1960; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski was a graduate of North Chicago High School; he and his family resided in Gurnee for the past 35 years in the house that they built with love; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski was a 50-year member of I.B.E.W. Local 150; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his cottage in Wisconsin with his family; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski is preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Anne (Trust) Serzynski; and

WHEREAS, Patrick Serzynski is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, David (Cindy) Serzynski, Patrick R. (Kim) Serzynski, and Lynn Falotico; his sister, Jacquee (Chauncy) Felker; and his wonderful grandsons, Matthew Serzynski, Bryan Serzynski, Nicholas Serzynski, Dillon Falotico, Hunter Falotico, and Patrick D. Serzynski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Patrick A. Serzynski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Patrick Serzynski as an expression of our sympathy.
