SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sister Lorraine E. Menheer of Barrington, who passed away on April 17, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born on February 4, 1933, in Bristol, Wisconsin, to the late Jacob and Elizabeth (nee, Voelkering) Menheer; and

WHEREAS, Sister Lorraine Menheer is survived by her School Sisters of St. Francis and St. Anne families; her nieces; her nephews; and her many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Sister Lorraine Menheer; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Sister Lorraine E. Menheer as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
