SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Susan H. Kenar of Lake Bluff, who passed away on April 24, 2010; and

WHEREAS, She was born July 18, 1944 in Waukegan, and married Lawrence Kenar on November 21, 1964 at Holy Rosary Church in North Chicago; and

WHEREAS, She was employed at Lake Forest College as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students, leaving in 1999 after 18 years of service; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Helen Lepke; and

WHEREAS, Susan Kenar is survived by her husband, Lawrence; her son, Lawrence (Mary) Kenar; her three grandchildren, Joseph, Mamie, and Lucas Kenar; and her brother, Carl (Julie) Lepke; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Susan H. Kenar; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Susan Kenar as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
