SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ed Ryan; and

WHEREAS, Ed Ryan was active with the Henry County Republican Central Committee for many years and served as the committee's secretary; he also served as a precinct committeeman in Phenix Township and Hanna Township; and

WHEREAS, Ed Ryan will be remembered fondly by his loving family and friends and the many candidates he helped on the campaign trail; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Ed Ryan; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ed Ryan as an expression of our sympathy.
