SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ann M. O'Malley of Wilmette, who passed away on January 1, 2011; and

WHEREAS, Ann O'Malley was born May 28, 1939, in Chicago; her parents were the late Robert and Mary Donelan, nee Riley; and

WHEREAS, Ann O'Malley studied to become a nurse and graduated from St. Francis Nursing School in Evanston; and

WHEREAS, Ann O'Malley enjoyed watching football and was a fixture in the stands at Loyola Academy football games; and

WHEREAS, Ann O'Malley was the beloved wife of the late John A. O'Malley; the loving mother of Kathleen (Paul) Clauson, Maureen G. (Kurt) Schlosser, John P. (Patty), Patsy (Eric) Matteson, Liz (Vince) Argento, Peggy (Michael) Kotowski, and Michael O'Malley; the cherished grandmother of Allison, Kevin, Ryan, Lizzie, Bella, Jack, Dan, Mike, Molly, Emily, Lily, Nick, ZuZu, Frankie, Jack, Paddy, Annie, and Maggie; the dear sister of Barbara (Tom) Beckett and Gerry (Ed) Bylina; and the fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Ann M. O'Malley; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann O'Malley as an expression of our sympathy.
