HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Timothy Bransky for winning the Bronze medal in bowling at the Illinois Special Olympics Competition, held in Peoria on December 5, 2009; and

WHEREAS, Timothy is a resident of the Wood Dale community; and

WHEREAS, He has excelled in the Northeast DuPage Special Recreation Association (NEDSRA) Special Olympics Program, winning a Gold medal in bowling at both area and sectional competitions with the Illinois Special Olympics; and

WHEREAS, Timothy has been a part of the bowling team with NEDSRA for more than 20 years; and

WHEREAS, Timothy almost always bowls a 150 or over game; he is known throughout the community, at Wood Dale Bowl, and to the patrons of the Wood Dale Park District as a man who promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, friendship, and other valuable qualities so necessary in today's world; and

WHEREAS, Timothy Bransky is to be commended for serving as a community ambassador for Wood Dale; he is an important part of the community and is known for his encouraging words and outgoing demeanor; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Timothy Bransky for his many bowling achievements and wish him continued success on the bowling lanes across the State of Illinois; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Timothy Bransky as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
