1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, During the 96th General Assembly, House
3 Resolution 163 created a task force to study local government
4 development standards and processes and their effect on
5 watershed, wetlands, and floodplains; and

6     WHEREAS, The task force is required to report its findings
7 and recommendations to the General Assembly on or before
8 January 1, 2010; and

9     WHEREAS, The task force has yet to meet as a result of a
10 delay in the appointment of members of the task force; and

11     WHEREAS, The deadline for reporting the findings and
12 recommendations of the task force should be extended to provide
13 the task force with sufficient time to complete its work;
14 therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
17 the task force created by House Resolution 163 of the 96th
18 General Assembly shall report its findings and recommendations
19 to the General Assembly on or before September 1, 2010; and be
20 it further

1     RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the task
2 force shall continue to operate pursuant to House Resolution
3 163 of the 96th General Assembly.
