1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mary Sheehan on her
4 retirement as president and CEO of Midwest Palliative & Hospice
5 CareCenter; and

6     WHEREAS, Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter is a
7 nonprofit, community-based healthcare organization located in
8 Glenview; and

9     WHEREAS, Her last day will be July 2, 2010; and a gathering
10 to celebrate her work and to wish her well will be held on June
11 28, 2010; and

12     WHEREAS, Mary has lent her leadership, energy, and
13 professionalism to improving access and quality of care for
14 patients facing serious illness and their families; and

15     WHEREAS, Mary's leadership will be missed; her positive
16 impact on Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter will benefit
17 the community for years to come; therefore, be it

18     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
20 congratulate Mary Sheehan on her retirement, thank her for her

1 service, and wish her the best in her future endeavors; and be
2 it further

3     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to Mary Sheehan as a symbol of our respect and
5 esteem.
