1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the
4 Naperville Central Redhawks baseball team on the occasion of
5 winning the IHSA Class 4A State baseball championship; and

6     WHEREAS, The Naperville Central Redhawks defeated St. Rita
7 10-4 to win the IHSA Class 4A State baseball championship at
8 Joliet's Silver Cross Field; the team ended their season with a
9 phenomenal 38-4 record; and

10     WHEREAS, The Naperville Central Redhawks beat a 30-win team
11 in 4 of their last 5 playoff games, a testament of the team's
12 incredible skill and determination; and

13     WHEREAS, The members of the Naperville Central Redhawks
14 serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the
15 people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

16     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate the members of the Naperville Central Redhawks
19 baseball team on the occasion of winning the IHSA Class 4A
20 State baseball championship and wish them continued success and
21 happiness in the future; and be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to Naperville Central Redhawks baseball head coach
3 Bill Seiple as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
