HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate David Geer on the occasion of his retirement from Gale Credit Union; and

WHEREAS, David Geer began serving on the Gale Credit Union Board of Directors in 1981; from 1989 to 1992, he served as a Policy Owner Representative for the Cuna Mutual Group; he served as 3rd Vice Chairman from 1994 to 1995; he served as Chairman from 1996 to 1997 and from 2005 to 2007; he served as the Legislative Forum Representative from 1996 to 2005 and as Foundation Representative from 1999 to 2002 and in 2009; he also served on the Credit Union Political Action Committee Board in 2004 and 2005; and

WHEREAS, David Geer serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate David Geer on the occasion of his retirement and wish him many happy and healthy retirement years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to David Geer as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
