HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Fatima Sattar on the occasion of her 1st place finish at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition; and

WHEREAS, Fatima Sattar is a 7th grader at Sauganash Elementary School; and

WHEREAS, Fatima Sattar placed 1st in the Illinois Junior Academy of Science State Exposition with her project, "Do Cell Phones Affect the Growth of Seeds?"; she also placed 1st in her school's science fair; and

WHEREAS, Fatima Sattar's project was placed in the Top 10 at the Area 1 CPS Science Fair and the Top 50 at the CPS City Science Fair; her project was also given a Gold rating and named Best in Botany Junior Division; and

WHEREAS, Fatima Sattar was one of only 8 elementary school students whose projects were selected for the Gold rating; and

WHEREAS, Fatima Sattar serves as a model of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Fatima Sattar on the occasion of her 1st place finish and wish her continued success and happiness in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Fatima Sattar as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
