HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Warren Cannon of Aurora; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon was a lifelong resident of Aurora; he graduated from East Aurora High School in 1945; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon retired as a senior personnel administrator at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia in 1990 after 22 years of dedicated service; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon was appointed to fill a vacancy on the West Aurora School Board in 2000; he served in this capacity until 2005; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon was an avid fan of the West Aurora High School sports programs; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon is survived by his wife, Bobbie, his 5 children, Warren Lewis, Keith, Stephanie, Eric, and Sean; and his many friends; and

WHEREAS, Warren Cannon will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him as a generous and kind man, whose integrity and passion for his community was unmatched; he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and colleagues; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Warren Cannon; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Warren Cannon as an expression of our sympathy.
