HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to honor Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck for their exemplary dedication to volunteerism; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck, both residents of DuPage County, have each contributed more than 30 years of volunteer service to the DuPage Senior Citizens Council, a non-profit organization that operates Meals on Wheels and Community Dining programs for senior citizens; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck have worked tirelessly for decades in the kitchen of the York Township Senior Dining Center preparing meals and serving senior citizens; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck exemplify the volunteer spirit that is alive and active in DuPage County; and

WHEREAS, Through their actions, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck demonstrate that there is no age limit on serving others and dedication to good work; and

WHEREAS, The State of Illinois' villages and cities are strengthened by the senior citizens who provide wisdom, experience, diversity, and generational links to our communities; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck represent the highest level of citizenship, dedication, and commitment; and

WHEREAS, Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck serve as sterling examples of the 2.7 million Illinois volunteers at various agencies, schools, and organizations who help their neighbors and communities; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we honor Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck for their many years of dedicated service and designate them as extraordinary volunteers; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Natalie Insley and Loretta Peteck as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
