SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

New Act

Creates the Illinois Medicare Supplement Insurance Act. Sets forth the purpose of the Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning insurance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Illinois Medicare Supplement Insurance Act.

Section 5. Purpose. It is the policy of the State of Illinois that all firms licensed to offer health insurance in Illinois offer Medicare Supplement Insurance to persons who are under age 65 and eligible for Medicare by reason of disability or end-stage renal disease.
