SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

740 ILCS 174/25

Amends the Whistleblower Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning violations of the Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Whistleblower Act is amended by changing Section 25 as follows:

Sec. 25. Civil penalty. Violation of this this Act is a Class A misdemeanor.
