SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ervin J. Stadelman, who passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 88; and

WHEREAS, Ervin Stadelman was born in Freeport to Josef and Anna Roosi Stadelman on April 5, 1931; he graduated from South Wayne High School in 1950 and married Jeanne Newark on September 20, 1952; and

WHEREAS, Ervin Stadelman attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a music major; he was a member of the 132nd Army National Guard Band; and

WHEREAS, Ervin Stadelman was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Rebecca (Mark) Loeffel; and

WHEREAS, Ervin Stadelman is survived by his wife, Jeanne; his daughters, Melinda (Gary) Weichmann, Brenda (Brian) Zambrowicz, and Tara (Steve) Stadelman-Cohen; his son, Steve (Patty) Stadelman; and 12 grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ervin J. Stadelman and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ervin Stadelman as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
